Singapore Botanic Gardens

 February Sunday 4th 2024. AEW and I grabbed a taxi to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. We both cannot believe how clean and green Singapore is, everywhere. It was only 2km and cost 7 Singapore dollars, which is 184 baht or 5.20 US dollars. The taxi was very clean, professional, and an excellent driver.

Arrived in Singapore

 February Saturday 3rd 2024. We arrived in Singapore at 8:35 pm (7:35 pm Thailand time. Everything was amazingly clean in the airport.We requested travel from the airport to the hotel when we booked on the booking dot com website, but never received confirmation or instructions. The information desk at the airport was very helpful and we immediately got a taxi to the hotel.

 The hotel was very nice looking but very tiny. The restaurants all listed being open until 10, 10:30, midnight and even 1:30 am; however, at 9:30-10 pm AEW and I were unable to find any of them actually opened. Very hungry and very disappointed.

Off to Singapore

 February Saturday 3rd 2024. AEW and I headed off to  Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ to fly to Singapore for the weekend. My visa for Thailand expires tomorrow, so I need to fly out of the country for a day or more and then reenter in order to reset my visa. We ate at a restaurant in the airport before our flight. Our flight was on Vietjet Air, flight VZ624, was supposed to leave at 4:25 pm, however it was delayed and actually left at 5:05 pm. We arrived in Singapore at 8:35 pm (7:35 pm Thailand time.
